Speaker-As-Microphone (SAM) is an alternative audio source. The audio performance improves in wind noise when you use the SAM Mode. Selections : Off, On, and Wind_On. When you set this feature to Wind_On, the SAM audio input functions only in a windy condition.
When the radio is model / option capable, and
when Custom Noise Reduction (Radio) is enabled.
